Atlanta-born country rock outfit Zac Brown Band has had an incredible 15-year run so far. The band, which emerged in 2008, has released numerous chart-topping and platinum-earning hits. The band, comprising acclaimed singer-songwriter Zac Brown, has released seven studio albums, five of which topped the Billboard 200, the Top Country Albums, or both. The band has sold over ten million albums worldwide. Meanwhile, their major label debut, The Foundation, sold over five million copies in the U.S. and earned five-time platinum status. The 2008 album spawned the band’s biggest hit, “Chicken Fried,” as well as number 1 singles, “Free” and “As She’s Walking Away.” The band won Best New Artist at the 2010 Grammy Awards thanks to the album's phenomenal success. They also bagged Best New Vocal Duo or Group at the Academy of Country Music, while their single “Chicken Fried” won USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year at the CMT Music Award. The Country Music Association awarded Zac Brown Band the New Artist of the Year Award the following year.
In 2011, the band’s sophomore album, You Get What You Give, spawned three consecutive number 1 Country Airplay singles, “Colder Weather,” “Knee Deep,” and “Keep Me in Mind.” All these tracks earned platinum and multi-platinum certifications in the U.S. Meanwhile, the single “As She’s Walking Away earned numerous nominations and awards, including Best Country Collaborations with Vocals at the Grammy Awards and Vocal Event of the Year Award and a Song of the Year nomination at the Academy of Country Music.
Two years later, the band’s third album, Uncaged, won them another Grammy Award for Best Country Album. The 2012 effort topped both Billboard 200 and Top Country Albums charts. The album featured the chart-topping and platinum-selling single “Goodby in Her Eyes.”
