Right from the very first notes and guitar strains of songs from Yacht Rock Revue's concert, the audience is whisked away to a world where they feel they are "sailing on a cool and bright clear water". Yacht Rock Revue are captains of the yacht rock ship. They have said across oceans, delivering iconic hits from the golden Top 40 soft-rock era to loyal fanbases in many parts of the world. Songwriter Robert Dupree describes them as -- “They’re a trip down memory lane that skips all the bad neighborhoods”.
Yacht Rock Revue's song list features over a hundred classical gems, making every concert a surprise. Yacht Rock Revue was formed and founded in 2007 in Atlanta, Georgia, where the band honed and perfected their act by peforming weekly gigs at a local club. From there, they were signed by a major concert conglomerate which expanded their reach to a national level, playing over 100 shows a year.

Yacht Rock Revue initially had doubts if the yacht rock wave would soon come crashing down. “We always thought the fad would end. But people don’t let go of these songs. It’s evident in the way that doctors’ offices, Home Depots, and Bed Bath & Beyonds haven’t let go of these songs either,” says Olson. “These are the playlists of public areas.”
Fans are still riding the wave and show no signs of jumping ship. These aficionados were named "Anchorheads" - faithful disciples that have kept the yacht afloat and sailing the azure waters of sun-soaked summer soundtracks.
