Get ready for a rockin' night as one of history's biggest singer-songwriters graces the stage with a set of legendary hits that defined rock music for decades to come. Neil Young just marked a huge tour this year, and he's coming over to North America this summer.
The man has received a slew of Grammy and Juno Awards & nominations, including Record of the Year, Best Rock Album, Song of the Year, MusiCares Person of the Year, Adult Alternative Album of the Year, Album of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and so on. Inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice - 1995 as a solo artist and in 1997 with Buffalo Springfield, he's truly a legend in the industry. Ranked #30 on Rolling Stone's list of the "250 Greatest Guitarists of All Time", and making it to another list of "The 100 Greatest Artists of All Time", he's an icon celebrated for his astounding talent and soul-striking hits that never get old. To this day, rock aficionados look back to his greatest hits.
Keeping the legacy alive, he's hopping on the "Love Earth" tour with the Chrome Hearts. The band features Young, Micah Nelson, Corey McCormick, Anthony Logerfo, and Spooner Oldham. Together, they'll be performing an electrifying set of hits from the man's massive catalog.
Earlier this year, Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts released their first-ever single together - "Big Change". Debuting the band last year, Young has express how happy he is to write new music with the band. Describing the band as "reconfigures musicians he has worked with before", the collaborators have proved their talent & skill to bring out the best in Young's music.
"It is a happy feeling I have today, knowing I have made an album I think people will enjoy," the artist wrote on his website.
"Big Change" is a taste of what to expect from the legend's new chapter in music. At age 79, he shows no sign of hitting the breaks on writing & rocking it out. "They feel fresh to me and I am very happy to have this all ready for you. It won’t be long now and it will be great to have new songs to play on the road this summer in Europe, the USA and Canada," he said about the upcoming album.
Tentatively scheduled for a release this April, you can expect to rock it hard to new music at the Love Earth tour. Don't miss out by booking your tickets now!
