The Complete Sweets! Tour

Founded in 1991 by Adam Duritz and David Bryson, Counting Crows began as an acoustic duo that played gigs around Berkeley and San Francisco. Inviting new members to the band, and a couple of lineup changes through the years, the fellas are now joined by Charlie Gillingham, Dan Vickrey, David Immerglück, Jim Bogios, and Millard Powers. Since their debut studio record "August and Everything After," became a massive hit (7x Platinum in the U.S.), these rockers have become an essential name in the alt-rock scene.

With a new album "Butter Miracle, The Complete Sweets!" coming out on May 9th, fans of the "Mr. Jones" hitmakers are celebrating out loud. To mark their huge comeback, the band is embarking on The Complete Sweets! Tour. They will be joined by fellow rockers The Gaslight Anthem on the road.

The band's forthcoming release marks their first full-length since "Somewhere Under Wonderland" came out in 2014. That album was praised by critics for refining their signature sound that takes listeners back to the glory days of the '90s. "Adam Duritz is still the same dreadlocked dreamer you remember from the Nineties..." wrote Jon Dolan of Rolling Stone. Meanwhile, The Daily Telegraph hailed the album as "their best collection of songs since their debut."

Over a decade since that banger of an album came out, expectations are at an all-time high. Back in 2021, the band released an EP, "Butter Miracle, Suite One," which appears to have been a teaser to the complete collection of sweets they're serving up this time around. In a conversation with Rolling Stone, frontman Duritz shares that the project was born from a five-year rest from writing songs. Going through major life shifts, creativity just suddenly flowed through.

"Most of my experiences in my life had been what it’s like to be alone and live alone. And that’s not the case anymore. That’s a big change for me, to really come to the idea that maybe something’s more important than writing songs," he told Rolling Stone.

Now, the band is back, serving up a complete collection of sweets! All set to meet all of you on tour, make sure you're part of their massive comeback shows by booking your tickets now!
