Yes! The Brotherhood of Rock Tour comes to Fiddlers Green Amphitheatre on Monday 9th June 2025 with headline sets from both Styx, and former lead of REO Speedwagon, Kevin Cronin, plus, an absolutely extravagant opening set from former Eagles guitarist, and lead of his own band, Don Felder.
This is a night to celebrate great American Rock music, with an insanely large back catalog of hits going all the way back to the 70s from all three bands... you know that this is gonna be extra special! So, hit that 'get tickets' button right away.
Two bands that have been touring together, and smashing out the occasional festival stage, for the last 25 years, Styx and REO Speedwagon and headed out for their 6th joint tour. The Brotherhood of Rock Tour Celebrating 25 Years Of Musical Friendship, along with special guest Don Felder, former lead guitarist for the Eagles, will kick off in May 2025 and hit the stages for a grand total of 40 nights!
Although they have been occasionally bumping into each other, and probably standing in the crowd at each other's gigs since the late 70s, "So in the year 2000, Tommy and I decided to give it a shot. The 'Arch Allies' tour was a smashing success, and a life-long friendship was formed. Now, here we are 25 years later, having always had each other's back, and psyched for our bands to join forces once again for the 'Brotherhood Of Rock' tour." Styx and Kevin Cronin stated at the tour announcement.
Styx is lead singers and guitarists, James “JY” Young, and Tommy Shaw, singer and bassist Chuck Panozzo, drummer Todd Sucherman, singer and keyboards Lawrence Gowan, guitarist and occasional mandolin Will Evankovich, and bassist, guitarist and singer Terry Gowan. With a back catalog 50 years long, you are guaranteed a set with epic hits, and salt 'n peppered with some older, but surprising tracks... anything from, “The Grand Illusion,” “Blue Collar Man,” “Lady,” to “Miss America,” “Crystal Ball,” and “Man in the Wilderness.” really, it hardly matters what they pull out on the night, IT WILL SOUND AWESOME!
After last year's breakup of REO Speedwagon, we all thought that was it for this epic duo... but Kevin Cronin is back... and he's brought the boys with him! Joining him on tour is lead guitarist Dave Amato and drummer Bryan Hitt, both of REO Speedwagon since 1989. Plus, Derek Hilland, REO Speedwagon's keyboard player since January 2023, and REO Speedwagon’s touring bassist since November 2023. So, let's call it what it is, REO Speedwagon, in all but name!
